*Note from seller: We went through the work of refurbishing the gear box for the carriage, it was rough. It got full disassembly, cleaning, new bearings and seals. After that just for whatever reason we pulled the compound off and found the state of the T slot that the bolts go in that hold the compound to the cross slide. There is nothing we can do to fix that. I think you could weld or braze it and re-machine it but that is not something I am going to do and have just decided to offer the machine AS IS.
